C-730 Ultra Zoom

 

Sophisticated, versatile and attractively priced, the Olympus C-730 Ultra Zoom digital camera has everything going for it. A shutter speed down to 1/1000th of a second coupled with a 3.2 megapixel CCD makes for highly detailed shots in motion--and stills too, obviously. It will even capture short audio/video snippets in QuickTime format.

Even more impressive is the C-730's range. It has a 10X optical zoom lens, and an onboard 3X digital zoom that, together, enables a zoom-ability factor up to 30X. Plus, its Super Macro Mode facilitates crystal clear shots of things less that 2 inches away.

The C-730 can be set to automatic, semi-auto or full manual, making it a robust digital picture snapper for pros--and perhaps the point-and-shooter set, too, though it does require a fair amount of patience and techno-savvy, so novices might not appreciate (nor want) the C-730's advanced capabilities.
