CoolIT USB Beverage Chiller

CoolIT USB Beverage Chiller

There's little worse than a lukewarm beverage that was fresh and cold until you temporarily forgot about it in the heat of a PC game battle or inspired productivity session. Enter the CoolIT USB Beverage Chiller, which, like it sounds, is a USB powered heatsink for the bottom of your canned or bottled beverage of choice.

Though technically the Chiller can cool a beverage down to 45F / 7C, it takes a fairly long time to do so, considering you're probably going to want to drink the thing well before the heat has sunk. However, while it won't chill a warm beverage with anything resembling rapidity, it will keep a cold one cool for all eternity or until you drink it all up, whichever comes first.

Moreover, the USB Beverage Chiller is a fine example of geek-chic, a source of nerd-pride every time you whip it out at the airport lounge and jack it into your laptop; mount it mouse-side at your workstation at the office; or plunk it down meaningfully beside your Xtreme rig at the next Counter Strike LAN party... a conversation piece that also happens to do something practical. Pretty cool. Ha ha.
