Desktop MicroSaver Security System

Desktop MicroSaver Security System

Today’s offices have a wide variety of computer and electronic equipment sitting out in the open, much of which is easily pilfered by snatch-and-dash adepts. Kensington's Desktop MicroSaver is reasonable theft deterrent; a low-tech way to safeguard one’s high-tech equipment.

This security bundle consists of a lock (with two keys), a 6-foot cable, three security plates and – get this – a tube of instant-bond glue. Yup, glue. Sure, we’re not talking deafening alarms and GPS tracking devices, but simple anchorage of one’s easily-scooped component hardware with super sticky stuff (reportedly holds against 750 pounds) is often enough to befuddle a would-be thief, and that’s the whole point.
