MR314 Wireless Router w/4-Port Switch

 

NetGear's MR314 Wireless Router w/4-Port Switch allows 2 - 32 computing devices to communicate with each other and share a single, high-speed Internet connection at the same time--an ideal solution for the 2+ PC home or small office.

The unit's integrated wireless IEEE 802.11b Access Point eliminates the need for Ethernet cabling snaking around desks, up stairs or poking through walls; a wireless network adapter for each device is required instead. Such adapters--for laptops and/or desktops--run about $50 - $150 a piece, with the more expensive units offering the simplicity of USB instant connectivity (NetGear makes those, too).

The MR314 also accommodates 4 hard-wired connections and offers a firewall, NAT routing security, web content filtering, etc. It's browser-based set-up wizard makes configuration a snap.
