Radeon 9700 Pro

 

While the specifications for ATI's latest generation graphics card, the Radeon 9700 Pro, read like extreme Greek to the average user, the bottom line is that this particular PC component is the top-of-the-line.

Features such as eight parallel rendering pipelines processing over 2.5 billion pixels per second, four parallel geometry engines managing 300 million transformed and lit polygons per second and a new, high-performance 256-bit DDR memory interface providing over 20 GB/second of graphics memory bandwidth simply equates, in layman's terms, to the best visual processing unit on the market.

As yet, there is no comparative graphics card in this class. There's nothing even close.
