SF-555P Laser Multifunction

If your looking for a document device that just takes care of business, you want a Samsung "SF-555P," a sheet fed laser printer, fax machine, photo-copier, scanner and phone all in one.

Though it only offers monochrome (black & white and greyscale) and cost a fair bit more up front than some those flashy colour inkjet jobbies, the SF-555P otherwise completely out-classes the ink option. Laser offers a better quality print job, for starters, and seeing as it's designed for serious documents, better is best. Moreover, laser printers by nature are much cheaper to operate, costing no more than a penny per printed page, as opposed to inkjets, which will cost a nickel or dime per page and have you buying refill ink cartridges before you can say "give away the razor to sell the blades."

The SF-555P is also speedy, with a printing/copying speed of 12 ppm/cpm, and a 33.6 kbps fax modem that can transmit a single page in 3 seconds. It's fax (and phone with built in handset) function also includes a robust set of features to let you save on long-distance charges, block junk (or send it, if that's your bag), quick frequent fax tasks with 20 one-touch and 80 speed dials, and more. Operates as a stand alone fax/phone/copier or a Windows PC scanning/faxing peripheral via USB or IEEE1284.
