What's the temperature? Um, inside or outside? Go check both on the Desktop Weather Station.
This little device, powered by two AA batteries, displays the temperature in either Fahrenheit or Celsius in large numbers on an LCD display. The thermometer takes the temperature inside of an internal sensor, but can also receive weather data from another cordless box that you mount or place outside. There are no cables involved. The two units communicate wirelessly through walls and floors with a line of site range of up to 100 feet, though the more walls and floors and solid objects between the two, the shorter the range gets.
The indoor unit also displays humidity (by percentage) and a weather indicator which shows the weather - sunny, partly cloudy and cloudy - as well as the time and date. It also shows temperature trend in the last 30 minutes: whether it's going up, down or is stable. There's even an alarm that can beep at a certain time or when a maximum or minimum temperature is reached.
All this, plus it can show data from up to 4 sensors (it comes with one), which is handy if you want to display weather conditions in various places like (I'm dreaming here) your wine cellar and outdoors in the sun and shade.
