As it was in my days of vivid imagination and miniature motor vehicle whimsy, now my son has a collection of bent and bashed Hot Wheels that do nothing other than take up space or spill under foot in moments of restlessness. Imagine, then, my delight when I came across Spin Master Toy's MetalMaxx toy cars and trucks.

Kids today seem innately tech-savvy as computers and electronic gadgetry permeates their lives.
